The UVM Hoop Cats had 4 players in double figures as they cruised to a 73-58 victory over UMBC to move to 10-5 (1-0 AE)on the season. Marqus Blakely led the team in scoring with 17 points (14 Rebounds), Maurice Joseph followed with 16, and Evan Fjeld and Garvey Young had 13 and 11 respectively. The Catamounts rode a strong first half by Garvey Young who hit two big threes to gain some breathing room heading towards the break. The Catamounts also saw some key minutes from reserve and Burlington native Pat Bergmann who saw some time when Blakely was sent to the bench with 2 first half fouls.
